BACKGROUND

Based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, Adam “Swayve” Sumner is a multimedia artist that wears many hats. Growing up as an illustrator and painter, Swayve developed a strong passion for the arts. As he began to develop his musical skills as a saxophonist in school, he explored other mediums including music production, rapping, poetry, fashion, collaging, and digital art. Swayve's main involvement in the arts is acting as the COO of 47 Eyez On Me, however he creates many forms of his own art and music. He is also a team member of the creative hub and venue, The Portal HQ located in Raleigh. Skateboarding, hip-hop, and street art / fashion have been major influences in Adam’s artistic pursuits, and he continues to be an extreme sport fanatic. Art has been foundational to his character from a young age, and it influences his everyday life.

He acts as a a graphic designer for the record label and is open to taking commissions for digital art like album covers, flyers, fashion designs, etc. One of his unique artistic abilities involves the mix of digital and physical art. With his unique collage creativity, he is able to scan his assets to digitize his physical pieces. Creating pieces that inspire introspection and deep thought is evident through his use of mirrors as canvases. Swayve has many extraordinary, physical multimedia collage pieces that are also for sale.
