About the record label

47 Eyez On Me is an independent record label, based in North Carolina, that houses musicians from many backgrounds and genres like hip-hop, jazz, and R&B. The community also doubles as an art collective whose creative mediums span from music and production to videography and digital art. The group showcases their talents on solo songs while combining their energies for uniquely crafted collaborations.

Performances from all artists include live instrumentation, digital productions, visual backdrops and decorations, crowd engaging activities, and more that creates an immersive experience for the participants. Audience members of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities can identify with and resonate with our music and messages behind the tracks.

In our organization’s short history our accomplishments include a sold out show with Waka Flocka, performing alongside local artists Tia Corine & Sonny Miles, headlining at Cat’s Cradle, accumulating over 50,000 streams in 2022, a placement in HBO’s Southside, and selling out our first two headlining events.

MISSION

The mission of 47 Eyez On Me is to collectively manifest positive energy in both the artist and the experiencer, enabling creativity and action. To fuel this growth we provide artists with the ownership and rights to their creations, allowing them to be the main beneficiaries of their works. Listening to 47 Eyez On Me provokes action within one's self to not only better themselves, but also the lives of those around them.

Curating the Future

Through the power of your mind, your thoughts and actions possess the ability to create future events. These thoughts come from what you consume and plant within your head either intentionally or not. We create art that plants motivating and healing ideas within your subconscious so that you are more empowered to make a change in your life and in those surrounding you. We are curating this positive future by accessing the powers of the now obtained through organic creation.

Meaning

The fourth and seventh chakras, anahata and sahaswara, are located on your body at your heart and at the crown of your head. The fourth represents the love/positivity we create and the seventh represents your spiritual abilities that transcend the material world. Combining the power from the two chakras while intently envisioning the life you wish to experience will allow it to be manifested. This world is all on you since it is your world to begin with. Our art is a reminder of that.
